Representing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee was Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFFCC Tran Thang.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Nguyen Xuan Anh stated that in response to the call from the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support those affected by the storms and floods, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a campaign urging all ministry staff and the overseas Vietnamese community to actively contribute both materially and spiritually to those affected.

Previously, the Ministry's leadership had twice represented the Ministry's staff and the overseas Vietnamese community to donate amounts of 12 billion and 11.9 billion VND respectively.

According to Nguyen Xuan Anh, following the campaign on November 25 to support the Central and Central Highlands regions, the Ministry's domestic staff raised over 748 million VND. This amount was sent to the VFFCC today, with the hope of joining the nation in helping the Central and Central Highlands regions recover from the storm and flood damages.

Receiving the heartfelt support from the Ministry's Party Committee and the overseas Vietnamese community, Deputy Secretary Tran Thang, on behalf of the VFFCC, expressed gratitude for the generous gesture from the Ministry's staff.

The Deputy Secretary affirmed that this is a valuable encouragement, reflecting the social responsibility and compassion of the Foreign Affairs sector towards those in disaster-stricken areas. Mr. Tran Thang emphasized that the VFFCC is committed to timely and purposeful distribution, prioritizing heavily affected areas and particularly disadvantaged families, ensuring transparency and accountability as directed by the Party and State.
