Low-cost Korean carrier opens direct route to Vietnam

On April 9, the Republic of Korea’s low cost carrier Air Seoul announced that it will open a direct air route to the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang next month as part of its plans to expand services throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

A spokesperson of Air Seoul said the first flight carrying passengers will take off on May 18, using a 195 seat A321. The airline is using a leased fleet of six A321s, including two 220 seat aircraft and four 195 seat planes which will conduct flights to Japan, Cambodia, Hong Kong (China), and Guam, a territory of the US.
