Heritage of Buddhism in India

India is the birthplace of three of the world's oldest religions, with Buddhism being the oldest rich heritage that India has given the world.

Buddha Purnima holds a great religious significance among the people who follow the Buddhism. Annually, the whole world celebrates Buddha Purnima to mark the birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha.

Buddha Purnima 2023 was celebrated on May 5^th in India.
