Notably, Phu Tho has issued a plan for double-digit economic growth for the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, associated with the establishment of a Steering Committee and a mechanism for inter-sectoral and inter-field coordination to strengthen the concentrated and unified leadership of the Provincial Party Committee over the main growth drivers; developing major solutions for the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation to enhance the operational efficiency of the political system, focusing on transitioning from traditional management methods to data-driven management based on "accurate, adequate, clean, live" data, forming a shared data system across the province and applying digital technology in administrative management.
Identifying enterprises as development partners
Phu Tho province identifies the development of the private economy as the most important driving force for the province's economic development, being the pioneering force in innovation, digital transformation, and international integration; developing foreign-invested economies in a selective investment attraction manner, linked with the development of domestic enterprises, based on mutual relationships; prioritizing attracting projects with advanced, new, high, clean technologies, modern management, high added value, and technology transfer commitments; having a spreading effect, expanding market networks, and deeply participating in global supply chains.

To date, the province has planned 57 industrial parks with a total area of over 14,000 hectares; of which 30 industrial parks have been approved for investment (18 industrial parks are operational, 12 industrial parks are under construction); this is an important land fund, creating room to attract large-scale projects in the fields of electronics, semiconductors, electric vehicles, supporting industries, and modern logistics…
The province has also developed a plan to attract strategic investors and a plan to orient new-generation foreign direct investment (FDI) flows for the 2026-2030 period, with the principle of "clean land - synchronized infrastructure - fast public service"; implementing the "Green Lane" mechanism in administrative procedures to serve the goal of double-digit economic growth in the area.
