The Ambassador emphasized that the official upgrade of Vietnam-Czech relations to a Strategic Partnership following Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit in early 2025 has laid a crucial foundation, opening a new phase of cooperation with many potential areas, especially in trade, investment, and business connectivity.

Representing the Vietnamese business community in the Czech Republic, Mr. Giang Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic, stated that the community currently has about 100,000 people, with 60,000 holding long-term residency cards and over 30,000 having Czech citizenship. Approximately 95% of the community is engaged in business, forming a dynamic group of entrepreneurs who are quick to adapt and gradually affirm their position in the local society.

Discussing the business environment, Mr. Nguyen Thai Ngoc, Chairman of the Vietnamese Business Association in the Czech Republic, noted that the Czech Republic offers a stable and transparent legal environment and business conditions, providing more advantages compared to some neighboring markets like Russia or Ukraine, especially amid recent economic-political fluctuations in Europe.

At the conference, entrepreneur Nguyen Van Duc, a prominent Vietnamese businessman in the Czech Republic, shared his success story in bilateral investment. He previously participated in the Saigon Aquarium project in Vietnam before expanding into the construction materials sector in Prague.
