“Financial Literacy” Course – A Solution for Enhancing Financial Literacy in Vietnam
As Vietnam’s economy grows dynamically and annual increases in average income, financial literacy is becoming a priority for many individuals. The country’s young demographic and diverse consumption needs make personal financial management an essential skill.

- Budgeting and saving: Guidance on creating budgets, minimizing expenses, and forming effective saving habits.
- Consumer credit: Understanding credit scores, credit cards, and modern payment methods.
- Financial goals: Using the SMART method to categorize short-, medium-, and long-term financial goals.
- Loans and debt: Basic knowledge of managing personal loans and debt.
- Insurance: Introduction to risk management and various types of insurance, including health, life, home, and auto insurance.
- Investments and retirement: Saving, investing, and preparing for a secure financial future.
- Scams & fraud: Protecting personal information and identifying common fraudulent behaviours.
- Careers and education: Planning for education, especially higher education.
- Employment: Insights into income, benefits, and effective payroll management.
- Banking: Managing bank accounts, understanding interest rates, and inflation.
- Car buying and housing: Buying or renting homes and cars and understanding related contracts.
