Entitled “Books with Family”, the event is expected to draw the participation of nearly 80 publishers and publishing companies showcasing their books at more than 100 booths.
Nearly 20 events will be held in the framework of the book day, including the introduction of the book “Industry 4.0 revolution, revolution of convergence and saving”, talks on “Books-Culture, development and integration” and talks on “picture book markets in Vietnam and the Republic of Korea”, among others.
Other interesting activities will be organised at each booth like games, painting, puzzle and lucky draw.
The annual event aims to encourage and develop reading culture in the community, while raising public awareness of the significance of books not only as a source of knowledge but also as a way to develop one’s though and personality.
To ensure the success of the book day, the MIC has ordered relevant ministries, branches, localities and organisations set up specific plans as well as popularise the book day at libraries, schools and education and training centres.
