Embassy of Vietnam in Austria: Spreading Vietnam's story through the 'Coffee with the Ambassador' initiative
WVR - On February 12, Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Vu Le Thai Hoàng met and spoke with international lecturers and graduate students from the Austrian Diplomatic Academy about the outcomes of the 14th Party National Congress, Vietnam's foreign and economic policies, and ASEAN-EU, Vietnam-EU relations.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria launched the dialogue series initiative named "Coffee with the Ambassador". This aims to implement public diplomacy by proactively providing information and updates on Vietnam's policies and business, investment, and tourism environment in the new era. It also seeks to enhance economic diplomacy by collaborating with businesses and localities to integrate and promote famous Vietnamese coffee products in policy dialogues.

During the conversation, lecturers and students from the Austrian Diplomatic Academy, representing 10 countries and territories in Europe and Asia, expressed their interest and support for the "Coffee with the Ambassador" initiative. They considered it an intriguing blend of politics, economics, and culture in diplomacy, effectively conveying policy messages and spreading Vietnam's success story in the new era.

The initiative has garnered support from various ministries, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and the local business community. Vietnamese coffee enterprises have also committed to partnering with the Embassy to further expand the dialogue series in the future.
