During the call, Deputy Foreign Minister Hang affirmed that Vietnam always values and seeks to enhance its traditional friendship with Kyrgyzstan. She emphasized that in recent times, the political and diplomatic relations between the two countries have seen positive developments, highlighted by the official visit to Vietnam by Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev in March 2025 and the meeting between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev during the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin, China, in June 2025.
Expressing delight at the positive developments in bilateral relations, Kyrgyzstan Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov sincerely thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its thorough and cordial preparation for Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev's official visit to Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Meder Abakirov agreed to maintain direct communication between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs at the Deputy Minister level and relevant units to coordinate timely and closely in promoting contact activities and delegation exchanges at all levels, especially high-level ones, to enhance political trust. This will lay the foundation for advancing cooperation in areas where both sides have strengths and potential, particularly in trade, investment, and tourism. He also urged the two countries' ministries, sectors, and agencies to implement corresponding cooperation areas and suggested both sides promptly exchange and address arising issues in bilateral relations and in protecting the rights and interests of their citizens and legal entities.

Recognizing the cooperation results between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs in recent times, the two Deputy Foreign Ministers agreed that the Ministries should continue to closely coordinate to actively and effectively implement the agreements reached between the high-level leaders of the two countries. This includes promptly negotiating and moving towards signing agreements that create a solid legal framework for bilateral relations, such as the Economic Cooperation Agreement, the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement, the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement, and the Visa Exemption Agreement for citizens of both countries, thereby deepening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan.
On this occasion, Deputy Foreign Minister Abakirov invited Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang to visit Kyrgyzstan and conduct political consultations at a suitable time to promote relations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and between the two countries.
