Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai pays courtesy calls on Cambodian and Malaysian Ambassadors in France
WVR - On April 2, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Trinh Duc Hai paid courtesy visits to the Cambodian and Malaysian Ambassadors in Paris on the occasion of commencing his term in France.

During the meetings, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai expressed his pleasure in establishing working relations with ASEAN colleagues in the region, affirming that Vietnam always values its friendly and comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia and its close partnership with Malaysia.
The parties exchanged views on international and regional situations, agreeing on the importance of maintaining ASEAN's central role, strengthening internal solidarity, and promoting a unified ASEAN voice in addressing regional and international issues.
The Ambassadors affirmed the need to continue enhancing consultations, coordinating positions, sharing information, and promoting substantial cooperation among member countries to elevate ASEAN's role and reputation internationally and in France specifically.
On this occasion, the Ambassadors also shared experiences in working with local authorities and discussed ways to enhance coordination among ASEAN representative missions in foreign affairs, policy advocacy, and organizing joint activities in the region.

The parties also emphasized the importance of caring for and supporting the citizens of each country living, studying, and working in France, considering this a practical measure to strengthen the image and position of each country and to enhance the connection between ASEAN representative missions.
Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai expressed his desire to continue strengthening exchanges and close coordination with the Cambodian Embassy, the Malaysian Embassy in France, and other ASEAN missions in the region, thereby contributing to promoting ASEAN cooperation in general and bilateral relations between Vietnam and other countries in particular.
