WVR - Vietnamese leaders have sent a message of condolence upon hearing about the severe floods and landslides in various areas on Indonesia's Sumatra island.

Upon receiving news of the unusual natural disaster causing severe floods and landslides in various areas on Indonesia's Sumatra island, resulting in hundreds of deaths and missing persons, on November 30, 2025, President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a message of condolence to President Prabowo Subianto.

On the same day, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung sent a condolence message to Foreign Minister Sugiono.
