Vietnamese Embassy in Israel implements citizen protection measures related to Flotilla to Gaza

Immediately after receiving information about the incident, the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, coordinated with Vietnamese Representative Missions in Israel, Egypt, Turkey, and relevant domestic authorities to verify the incident. They also actively contacted and communicated with the family of citizen Tieu Nguyen Bao Ngoc to gather more information, facilitating the verification and citizen protection process.
Accordingly, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has contacted the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request verification of information related to the incident, demanding humane treatment and full compliance with international regulations and conventions concerning citizen protection and human rights.
A representative of the Embassy stated that they are continuing to closely coordinate with local authorities and closely monitor the situation to take necessary support measures for the Vietnamese citizen involved in the incident.
In the context of the ongoing complex security situation in the Middle East, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel advises Vietnamese citizens to strictly adhere to the regulations of countries in the Middle East, regularly monitor security warnings from the governments of these countries and Vietnamese Representative Missions in the region, and limit travel to areas with conflicts or potential safety risks.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel stated that it will continue to update information and implement necessary citizen protection measures in accordance with Vietnamese law and international practices.
