The Ambassador made the statement after listening to Laos’s voluntary national review (VNR) on SDG implementation presented by Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith in New York on July 16 within the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).

In the VNR, Laos highlighted efforts, achievements and difficulties of the country in the realisation of SDGs, and the Southeast Asian nation’s hope for continued support from the international community in the work.
