The diplomat hailed the outstanding achievements Vietnam has accomplished despite the unprecedented challenges resulted from the Covid-19 pandemic, and said that the defined development objectives for the country until 2025 and 2030, especially the 2045 vision which aims to turn Vietnam into a developed country with high-income is similar to the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 in terms of ambition, prospects and aspirations.

In his opinion, the relations between Saudi Arabia and Vietnam are witnessing a remarkable transformation and development in all fields since the diplomatic relations were established in 1999.

Moreover, there is a firm desire of the two countries to exchange delegations, especially high-level delegations. There are enormous opportunities and potentials to enhance the level of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of politics, trade, labor, investment and tourism, and there are tremendous efforts have been made by the two countries to exploit these opportunities, he stated.

Quoted President Ho Chi Minh's saying that "Unity is strength", Saudi Arabian Ambassador expressed his wish for greater achievements and success for the Government and the friendly people of Vietnam, progress and prosperity for the Saudi-Vietnamese relations, and durability and firmness for the solidarity and friendship between the two peoples.
