Medical instruments worth about US$ 0.5 million from Viet Nam are about to help China combat coronavirus outbreak.

At the same time, the Viet Nam Red Cross Society said it has mobilized goods worth US$100,000.

Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Hua Chunying said Friday that China has full confidence and capacity to win the fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic.

"Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the Chinese government has been taking the most comprehensive and rigorous prevention and control measures with a high sense of responsibility for people's health," Hua said, adding that many of these measures go well beyond the requirements of the International Health Regulations.
