He expressed his belief that the achievements Oman has enjoyed over the past nearly five decades are the fruits of the tireless effort, the vision, the determination, and the foreign policy of peace espoused by your leaders and your people, in a world rife with complex changes.

Regarding Vietnam-Oman relations, Vu emphasized that the bilateral ties witnessed strong positive growth in recent years.

Both sides have signed a series of bilateral cooperation documents and agreeemnts and regularly maintained inter-ministerial and inter-governmental mechanisms, he said.

In economic aspect, bilateral trade turnover has grown dramatically over the last several years, to US$117 million in 2017 and US$127 million in 2018, he added.

The Vietnam-Oman Investment (VOI) has made successful investments into key sectors, such as agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, hydropower plants, clean water plants, and healthcare, in Vietnam, according to the Deputy Foreign Minister.
