Nguyen Khanh Minh won a silver medal in the men’s 400m, disability category of T12 with a time of 50:94, while Nguyen Ngoc Hiep earned a bronze in the same event for athletes with disability category of T11 within 59:69.
In athletics, Tran Van Nguyen also brought home a bronze medal in the men’s javelin throw F40 with a throw of 32.79m.
Meanwhile, swimmer Vo Thanh Tung pocketed a silver at the men’s 50m freestyle S5 event, clocking 34:40.

On the same day, badminton player Trinh Anh Tuan defeated his Japanese rival Daisuke Fujihara 2-1.
As of 10pm on October 11, Vietnam had won a total 27 medals, including six gold, six silver and 15 bronze medals, standing at 11th place in the medal table.
China topped the overall rankings with 137 golds, followed by the Republic of Korea with 43 gold medals.
The Asian Para Games, which follows the Asian Games every four years, attracts athletes from 45 countries and territories in Asia this year.
The Vietnamese team comprises 75 members, including 52 athletes who will compete in seven of 18 sports, namely swimming, track and field, weightlifting, chess, badminton, table tennis and judo.
At the previous Asian Para Games in 2014, the country bagged nine gold, seven silver, and 13 bronze medals, finishing 10th in the overall rankings.
