The latest cases are all linked to Da Nang – the country’s biggest hot spot of COVID-19 pandemic. Of these, 19 are residents of Da Nang, eight others are residents of Quang Nam, and the remainders are from Quang Tri.
Specifically, patients 813-831 from Da Nang are aged between 7 and 85. They are linked to the Da Nang Hospital.
Patients 832-833 from Quang Tri are aged between 29 and 37. All of them came in contact with a person who was later confirmed the 750th COVID-19 patient.
Patients 834-841 from Quang Nam are aged between 11 and 70. Of these, three came in contact with people who were later tested positive for COVID-19 and two others were patient caretakers, and one with travel record to Da Nang.
Of the country’s patient tally, 317 are imported cases.
The nation is quarantining and monitoring the health of 178,695 people, including 5,252 at hospitals, 27,798 at centralized quarantine facilities and 145,645 at places of residence.
