Vietnam Airlines adds extra flight to Philippines for football fans

Using Airbus A321 aircraft, the flight will depart from Ho Chi Minh city at 11:00 (local time) on December 2. The return flight will take off at 23:30 (local time) in Bacolod the same day.

The VNA will also coordinate with travel businesses to develop a package tour on December 2 to provide passengers with a combo of round-trip air tickets, tickets for the semifinal, tour guide and other expenses during their stay in the Philippines.

Earlier, Vietnam Airlines operated two direct flights from Hanoi to Philippines for the Vietnamese football team and fans.

Vietnam made it through to the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup semifinals as the Group A winners while the Philippines represent Group B after finishing as runners-up.

The semifinal is scheduled to kick-off in Panaad Park and Stadium on December 2 at 19:30 (local time).
