Viet Nam to receive 1 million more vaccine doses from Japan

One million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine donated by Japan are expected to be delivered to Viet Nam on July 1 and July 8, the Ministry of Health said on June 29.

Plus another one million doses already delivered on June 16, Japan has to date presented 2 million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to Viet Nam.

“Japan’s donation of vaccines to Viet Nam is a testament to the profound friendship between the two countries,” the Japanese Embassy in Viet Nam said in a statement on June 25.

The vaccine doses will help Viet Nam fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
