VFF President Do Van Chien attends DPRK recepcion to maintain the tradition of mutual support
WVR - On the evening of October 2, in Hanoi, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien attended a reception on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (10/10/1945 - 10/10/2025).

Speaking at the event, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu extended congratulations from the leaders of the Party, State, Government, and people of Vietnam to the Party, State, Government, and people of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on the 80th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu affirmed that over the past 80 years, the Workers' Party of Korea has continually matured and developed, playing a guiding role in leading the North Korean people to significant victories on the revolutionary path.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that since its establishment, the Communist Party of Vietnam has been delighted to witness and become a close comrade and brother on the glorious revolutionary journey of the Workers' Party of Korea. He expressed confidence that the two Parties and peoples will always maintain the tradition of mutual support and assistance in the struggle to protect the country and build socialism.

In his speech at the event, DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Ri Sung Guk highlighted the achievements of the country and people of DPR of Korea over the past 80 years under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, led by generations of leaders including Chairman Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il, and now General Secretary, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong Un.

Ambassador Ri Sung Guk affirmed that the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and States of Democrtic People's Republic of Korea and Vietnam, personally established by Chairman Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the North Korean people, and President Hồ Chí Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, have been continuously strengthened and developed, aligning with the aspirations and desires of the peoples of both countries.

The Ambassador of Democratic People's Republic of Korean diplomat congratulated the achievements of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam in recent times and expressed firm belief that the Communist Party of Vietnam, led by General Secretary Tô Lâm, will successfully implement the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and achieve the two goals by 2030 of becoming a developing country with a modern industrial base and upper-middle income, and by 2045 becoming a developed, high-income nation.
