Trade, tourism and agricultural products of Son La province launched in Hai Phong

The Son La Trade, Tourism and Safe Agricultural Products Week was opened in Hai Phong City on December 16, attracting large numbers of city residents.

The event features 25 booths showcasing tourism and safe agricultural products of businesses and cooperatives in Son La province with VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and Organic standards.

Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Son La Province Nguyen Thanh Cong said that, as a mountainous province, Son La is striving to become a developed locality in the northern midlands and mountains region, with GRDP growth of over 8%.

Specifically, Son La is promoting agricultural development in the direction of commodity production with quality and safe products according to national and international standards.

The province currently has more than 83,000 ha of fruit trees, 281 planting area codes, 261 safe production chains, 114 OCOP products, and about 580 agricultural production and processing establishments.

The Son La Trade, Tourism and Safe Agricultural Products Week in Hai Phong is expected to give a boost to Son La’s tourism and safe agricultural products, thus contributing to attracting more investment resources in the ethnic minority and mountainous province.

The event is taking place at CO.OPMART supermarket, No. 1 Le Hong Phong Street, Hai Phong, until December 19, 2022.
