Three patients cleared of COVID-19, total recoveries rise to 356

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has reported three more patients have been cleared of COVID-19, boosting the country’s total number of recoveries up to 356 cases.

All of the latest recovered cases, including a 12-year old girl, are Vietnamese citizens from Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, and Phu Yen province.

Each of the individuals had tested negative for the virus twice before being released from the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi's Dong Anh District.

The trio now remains in a stable health condition and has since been displaying no symptoms of the virus, such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath.

They will now be placed under mandatory isolation for the next 14 days to ensure there is no possibility of the virus reoccurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
