Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang: 48 rescued crew members of Khoi Nguyen 18 vessel return safely to shore

WVR - The rescue operation for the remaining mising crew members of the Khoi Nguyen 18 vessel is being carried out by Vietnamese authorities in coordination with international forces with the highest determination, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stressed.

On July 30, responding to a reporter's question about the latest updates on the search and rescue efforts for the Vietnamese crew members on the Khoi Nguyen 18 vessel, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Thu Hang, stated:

"On the afternoon of July 29, 48 rescued Vietnamese crew members returned safely to shore and reunited with their families. They were rescued throught the coordinated efforts of Chinese and Vietnamese authorities following the Khoi Nguyen 18 vessel accident.

To date, Vietnamese authorities have recovered the body of one victim. Currently, Vietnamese forces continue their search and rescue operations with the utmost determination to locate the remaining missing crew members.

Recently, alongside the Chinese authorities, the Philippine forces have also coordinated closely with Vietnamese authorities on the ground. We express our sincere appreciation for the concern and active support of our international friends in these search and rescue efforts."
