The event brings the homeland culture closer to those living far away from home serving as a bridge for the exchange of Vietnamese culture and the promotion of national values in the second homeland of the Vietnamese community.
The Saitama Vietnamese Tet Festival 2025 event has great significance for those living far away from home, bringing valuable spiritual food, spreading love and warmth on the occasion of Tet, and bringing the traditional Tet atmosphere - customs and practices imbued with national identity to Vietnamese people, tourists and people of the host country.
Speaking about the organisation of the Saitama Vietnamese Tet Festival, Pham Dinh Thuong - Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese People in Saitama Province, shared that after nearly 20 years of being attached to Japan, I have never stopped loving my homeland Vietnam. Therefore, Saitama Vietnamese Tet is the passion, love, and sharing, from me, as well as the members of the Association, businesses, and individuals joining hands to create this meaningful event.
The festival space is divided into six areas: Vietnamese Tet Space - Recreating the New Year customs of Vietnamese Tet; Entertainment area - Spring music performances; Food area - Processing Tet dishes; Play area - Folk games; Community area for community activities - Family reunions and Check-in to preserve memories; Shopping area (10 - 15 stalls) - Tet market.
