Promoting Phu Tho tea in Greece
WVR - On September 27, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong received a delegation from Phu Tho Province led by Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, during their visit and work in Greece.

The delegation's activities in Greece included attending and promoting Phu Tho tea at the Athens Tea and Coffee Festival, the largest tea and coffee promotional event in Greece.
Welcoming the Phu Tho delegation to Greece, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong introduced the bilateral relations, opportunities, and potential collaborations with Greece that Phu Tho Province could explore, especially in the UNESCO cultural sector. This includes promoting, preserving, and sustainably enhancing heritage values, integrating economic development with cultural, labor, education, logistics, and local specialty products, such as supporting the promotion of Phu Tho tea brands at the Athens Tea and Coffee Festival.
Additionally, the embassy is ready to serve as a bridge connecting Phu Tho with provinces, cities, and UNESCO Clubs in various Greek localities. The ambassador affirmed that connecting localities and businesses is one of the key missions of the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece.
On behalf of the delegation, Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, expressed gratitude to the ambassador and the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece for their reception and especially for supporting the promotion of Phu Tho tea in Greece.

The province will explore the information on potential cooperation opportunities and will soon report back, coordinating with the embassy to implement and connect with Greek partners, particularly in cultural cooperation. The delegation thanked the embassy for supporting the promotion of Phu Tho tea, a key tea-growing area in the country with significant acreage and production.
Additionally, Phu Tho is boosting the export of agricultural products such as jackfruit, pomelo, banana, and longan. Moreover, with a system of 8 universities, 20 colleges, 12 vocational schools, and 19 vocational training centers, the province seeks to connect with experts and collaborate on educational training with Greece.
