Promoting OCOP and outstanding agricultural products of Bac Ninh at the safe agricultural products Fair
WVR - On the afternoon of May 31, at the Green Fam High-Tech Agricultural Farm (Tien Du District), the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Union held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Bac Ninh Safe Agricultural Products Fair. The Fair takes place over two days, May 31 and June 1.

The Fair features 15 booths showcasing safe agricultural products that meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP standards, organic products, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) items from businesses, cooperatives, and household producers in Bac Ninh province, as well as from Bac Giang, Hanoi, and Hai Phong.
At the Fair, businesses, cooperatives, production groups, and households engaged in agriculture and food sectors have the opportunity to meet, trade, network, establish business partnerships and investments, and promote their brands and products to consumers within and outside the province. This contributes to the implementation of the project “Bac Ninh strives to eliminate unsafe food” and the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods.”

This is also an opportunity to understand consumer preferences in order to develop appropriate production and business strategies that meet the increasingly high demands of the market.
Through the implementation of the OCOP Program, Bac Ninh’s signature products have steadily grown in both quantity and quality. Currently, the province has 302 products recognized as OCOP items, including 208 products rated 3 stars and 94 products rated 4 stars.
Trade promotion activities have been actively strengthened, helping many of Bac Ninh’s distinctive and OCOP products enter supermarket systems. Additionally, numerous specialty products from local businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities have been introduced on reputable e-commerce platforms, to connect enterprises, promote and advertise the province’s agricultural products across northern Vietnam and to tourists both within and outside Bac Ninh.
