Prime Minister congratulates NZ counterpart over general election victory

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has sent a message of congratulations to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern after her Labor Party won general election on October 17.

In his message, PM Phuc congratulated the victory of the Labor Party and Prime Minister Ardern, speaking highly of New Zealand’s achievements in socio-economic development and COVID-19 pandemic containment during PM Ardern’s last term.

He expressed his belief that, the Government of New Zealand win obtain greater achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Ardern.

Phuc also affirmed his resolve to continue working closely with the Government of New Zealand and Prime Minister Ardern to further promote the Viet Nam-New Zealand Strategic Partnership in a robust manner in the future.
