President Luong Cuong welcomed the official visit of Jordan's House Speaker to Vietnam, coinciding with Vietnam's successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party, a congress of special significance, ushering in a new era of development for the Vietnamese nation.
Recalling the memorable visit of King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein to Vietnam, President Luong Cuong affirmed that the visit of the Jordanian House Speaker would further energize the robust and substantive development of bilateral relations. On this occasion, President Luong Cuong extended warm greetings to King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan.
Praising the positive developments in bilateral relations recently, especially following King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein's visit, President Luong Cuong affirmed that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam are eager to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the friendly cooperation with Jordan. He congratulated the successful talks between Jordan's House Speaker and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, acknowledging the crucial role of the legislative bodies in creating a legal framework for bilateral relations.

Expressing gratitude to President Luong Cuong for the meeting, Jordanian House Speaker Mazen Turki El Qadi congratulated Vietnam on its significant achievements and conveyed King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein's greetings, well-wishes, and New Year congratulations to President Luong Cuong and Vietnam's leaders. The Jordanian House Speaker noted that Jordan and King Abdullah highly value Vietnam's role, position, and fair stance in addressing regional and international issues.
Regarding bilateral relations, President Luong Cuong and Jordan's House Speaker Mazen Turki El Qadi agreed that Vietnam and Jordan have ample opportunities for cooperation based on political trust, shared historical experiences, and values of peace and development aspirations.
To further promote the friendly cooperation between the two countries, both leaders agreed to enhance political and diplomatic relations through exchanges at all levels, effectively implement existing cooperation mechanisms, and consider establishing new mechanisms.
On defense and security cooperation, President Luong Cuong and the Jordanian House Speaker agreed to concretize the cooperation opportunities already identified, increase exchanges, share experiences, and promote collaboration in areas where each side has strengths. The leaders also agreed on directions to boost cooperation in economics, trade, tourism, healthcare, education, the Halal industry, and people-to-people exchanges.
President Luong Cuong emphasized Vietnam's consistent stance on promoting multilateralism, opposing the use or threat of force in international relations, and resolving disputes peacefully based on respect for international law and the United Nations Charter. Both sides agreed to further their roles as responsible members of the international community, closely coordinate in mediation efforts, and address international and regional issues for the benefit of both nations' peoples, and for peace, cooperation, and development in both regions.
