Ngo Hoang Phi Viet was named winner of Mister National Universe 2022 during the grand final of the male pageant held on June 6 in Thailand.

The Ho Chi Minh City native stands at 1.80 metres tall, with measurements of 90–80–95. Currently, he works as a financial consultant and a freelance model.
In 2021, the 25-year-old man finished as the second runner-up in the Vietnam Fitness Model contest, duly earning the right to represent Vietnam at Mister National Universe 2022.
The fourth edition of the Mister National Universe was held in Thailand from May 29 to June 6. The first, second, and third runner-up titles went to the contestants from Bhutan, the Republic of Korea, India, and Turkey, respectively.
The male pageant was first organised in 2017, with the nation sending two representatives to compete in the pageants in 2018 and 2019.
Dang Hieu Duc was awarded the third runner-up title, equivalent to the title of Mister National Earth at Mister National Universe 2019.
