The “Xuan Que Huong” programme is held annually on the threshold of the Lunar New Year (Tet) – the biggest and longest festival in a year of Vietnamese people – for outstanding Vietnamese people living abroad. The programme is attended by leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other ministries, and localities.

This is the largest political, external and cultural event connecting Vietnamese people at home and abroad, and also an opportunity for Party and State leaders to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of OVs.

Within the framework of the programme, OVs will have chances to join a lot of activities to enjoy the Tet atmosphere.
