New VUI-Fest Ha Long emerges as Northern Vietnam’s premier night tourism destination

At Bai Chay Ward, the VUI-Fest Ha Long night-time entertainment and culinary complex has officially come into operation, creating a vibrant and engaging festive space.

Developed as an integrated model combining entertainment, cuisine and the arts, VUI-Fest Ha Long adopts the style of a “prosperous trading port,” recreating the bustling commercial atmosphere along the shore of the heritage bay, adjacent to Ha Long International Cruise Port. Alongside performances featuring red-sail boats and a “light dragon” formation on the bay, a key highlight of VUI-Fest Ha Long is a large-scale artistic fireworks display, combined with modern music and lighting effects.

The complex also offers a diverse entertainment and experiential ecosystem, including street art stages, interactive activities, creative product exhibition areas and a wide range of food stalls blending local specialties with international cuisine.

In May, within the VUI-Fest Ha Long space, a 3D mapping show is scheduled to take place at the Lighthouse area, telling the story of the heritage land through modern light art, adding a distinctive cultural highlight.

With a model integrating diverse experiences – from fairs, cuisine, street art to light shows, water performances, and fireworks – VUI-Fest Ha Long not only expands the night-time consumption space but also contributes to shaping a new experience style for Ha Long tourism.

The continuous operation of activities from early evening to late night, along with the phased addition of products, demonstrates the well-planned development orientation of this complex in increasing tourist stay duration and spending.

Inspired by the ancient trading port, VUI-Fest Ha Long is an open space where visitors can shop, enjoy cuisine, and experience cultural activities all in one destination.

The "creative trading stations" are not just stalls but also interactive points where visitors can discover handicrafts, designer gifts, and participate in experiential activities such as auctions and performances.

Large-scale night entertainment stage by the bay

The fair space is supported by a continuously operating entertainment stage system, creating a large-scale "nightlife stage".
