Nearly 14,600 new COVID-19 cases added to national tally

The Ministry of Health confirmed 14,591 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, raising the national patient tally to 1,323,683.

The same day, the ministry reported 1,130 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 1,010,407.

The ministry also announced further 223 fatalities, bringing the nation’s COVID-19 death toll to 26,483, representing 2 percent of the national caseload.

The nation has administered 127,828,796 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 396,664 from Sunday.
