Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds ceremony to announce decisions on personnel reception, transfer, and leadership appointments
WVR - On the morning of August 10, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan presided over the ceremony to present decisions on the reception, transfer, and appointment of leadership and management personnel for five officials. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the leadership of various units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with the officials who were received, transferred, and appointed.

At the ceremony, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held ceremony to announce and present decisions on the personnel reception, transfer, and appointment of five leadership. The restructuring and arrangement of the personnel team aim to meet mission requirements while allowing officials to leverage their capabilities and professional experience in new positions.
According to the decisions, former Ambassador of Vietnam to Democratic People's Republic of Korea Le Ba Vinh, is received and transferred to work at the Department of Special Research of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holding the position of Deputy Director General; former Deputy Director General of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations, former Chairman of the Ministry's Trade Union Do Ngoc Thuy, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Director of the Foreign Transport Center V75. Former Minister Counselor, Deputy Permanent Representative, Deputy Chief of the Vietnamese Representative Missions in New York (USA) Nguyen Hoang Nguyen is received and transferred to hold the position of Deputy Director General of the Department of Southeast Asia - South Asia - South Pacific.
Deputy Head of the Customs Tax Operations Department, General Department of Customs Dang Son Tung, Ministry of Finance, currently seconded to work at the Ministry's Office, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs and International Treaties; concurrently seconded to work at the Ministry's Office; Head of the Legal - Economic Section Nguyen Thi Hong Quyen , under Department of Legal Affairs and International Treaties is appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and International Treaties.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan congratulated the five officials entrusted by the Ministry's leadership with new responsibilities. The Deputy Minister emphasised that the reception, transfer, and appointment of leadership and management personnel is a crucial aspect of personnel organization, contributing to the consolidation of the organizational structure and building a team of capable and qualified personnel to meet the demands of the new situation.
Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan urged the officials assigned new tasks to continue leveraging their capabilities, experience, and sense of responsibility; to quickly grasp their work, be proactive and creative in performing their duties; to enhance coordination, maintain internal unity, and work with their unit to complete the assigned tasks effectively.
Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan wished the five officials success in their new roles, encouraging them to continue leveraging their strengths and complete the assigned tasks, contributing positively to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country's foreign affairs endeavors.
For the units with officials received, transferred, and appointed, the Deputy Minister requested the unit's leadership to continue providing support and creating favorable conditions for the officials to quickly adapt to their work, leverage their strengths, and contribute effectively to the common tasks.

In his speech upon receiving the assignment, Mr. Le Ba Vinh expressed gratitude for the trust of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' leadership and affirmed his commitment to continue leveraging his experience, quickly mastering the new tasks, proactively coordinating with relevant units, and working with the team to complete the assigned tasks effectively.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Quyen expressed her honour at being entrusted with a new role by the Ministry's leadership; she affirmed her commitment to continue striving, learning, enhancing her sense of responsibility, and fostering a spirit of unity, working with the team at the Department of Legal Affairs and International Treaties to complete the tasks effectively.
The reception, transfer, and appointment of leadership and management personnel contribute to the continuous consolidation of the organizational structure, the appropriate deployment of personnel to meet mission requirements, while allowing officials to leverage their experience and professional capabilities, contributing to the overall results of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
