Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee Member, Party Secretary, and Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung; Party Central Committee Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies Nguyen Long Hai; leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; representatives from Party agencies, central departments, ministries, and leaders of units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee's Standing Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Le Hoai Trung presented the Prime Minister's decisions to transfer and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In his address, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung warmly congratulated the two officials entrusted with new responsibilities by the Party, State, and Prime Minister.
The Minister emphasised that strengthening the leadership team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not only meets organizational and personnel requirements but also holds significant importance in the context of rapidly evolving, complex, and unpredictable global and regional situations, which pose increasing demands on foreign affairs and international integration.
According to the Minister, diplomacy today not only contributes to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for national development but also plays a pioneering role in mobilizing external resources for development, enhancing Vietnam's international position and reputation, firmly safeguarding independence, sovereignty, national interests, and accompanying the nation's journey into a new era of development.
In this context, adding officials with strong political acumen, thorough training, and extensive practical experience to the leadership team will enhance leadership, direction, and management capabilities, better meeting the demands of the new phase.

The Minister expressed confidence that, with their extensive experience in various roles, the two new Deputy Ministers will quickly adapt to their work, promote a spirit of responsibility, unity, and innovation, and, together with the Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Ministry's leadership, and the entire diplomatic sector, continue to build a comprehensive, modern, and professional Vietnamese diplomacy, successfully implementing the foreign policy of the 14th National Party Congress and the resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee on foreign affairs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung congratulated the two officials on their new positions, affirming that this is a recognition by the Party and State of their efforts, training, and contributions in various fields of work.
The Minister expressed confidence that Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Van will continue to leverage their capabilities, experience, and courage, alongside the leadership team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing positively to the country's foreign affairs and international integration efforts.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the decision, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Hoang Van expressed her deep gratitude and appreciation for the attention and trust of the Party, State, Government, and leaders of the agencies in entrusting her with the new responsibility. The Deputy Minister affirmed that this is both an honour and a significant responsibility before the Party, State, diplomatic sector, and the people.
Fully aware of the increasing demands of foreign affairs in the new situation, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Hoang Van stated that she, along with Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long, will continuously learn, train, and promote a spirit of solidarity, responsibility, dedication, and effort, inheriting the glorious tradition of Vietnamese diplomacy, fully complying with the leadership of the Party, the direction of the Government and the Minister of Foreign Affairs; while closely coordinating with the Ministry's leadership team and units throughout the sector to successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Party's foreign policy, effectively serving the cause of building and safeguarding the Fatherland in the new development phase.
