Lao Embassy in Russia congratulates Vietnam on 80th National Day

During the meeting, on behalf of the Lao Embassy in Russia, Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy extended the warmest congratulations to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam, as well as to all staff members of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia on the occasion of the 80th National Day of Vietnam.

Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy affirmed that the country and people of Laos have always stood shoulder to shoulder, united with the country and people of Vietnam both in the past struggle for national liberation and in the current efforts of nation-building and development. The Lao Ambassador to Russia emphasized that Laos always values its relationship with Vietnam.

Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy expressed hope that Vietnam will achieve even greater accomplishments in its nation-building and development efforts in the coming time; affirming a commitment to closer cooperation with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia to contribute to strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

For his part, Counselor Doan Khac Hoang, Chargé d'affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, expressed sincere gratitude for the warm and heartfelt congratulations from Ambassador Shiphandone Oybuabuddy and the Lao Embassy in Russia to the leaders of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam in general, as well as to the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia on the occasion of Vietnam's 80th National Day.

On this occasion, Chargé d'affaires Doan Khac Hoang reminisced about the glorious historical moments of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

Counselor Doan Khac Hoang affirmed that throughout history, the country and people of Laos have always accompanied the country and people of Vietnam; expressing confidence that the relationship between the two countries in general and between the two embassies in particular will be increasingly strengthened, with cooperation becoming more effective in the new era of the Vietnamese nation.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, staff from both embassies enjoyed traditional dishes from both countries, sang songs celebrating the friendship between the two nations, and raised glasses to toast the 80th National Day of Vietnam, wishing for the special Vietnam-Laos relationship to be further consolidated and developed.
