On October 30, in the capital Santiago, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong, along with officials and staff of the Embassy, welcomed and attended the working session between the Academy's delegation and the Institute of International Studies (IEI) - University of Chile.
Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam introduced the academy's role in training and developing leadership, researching political theory and Ho Chi Minh ideology. He also expressed a desire to expand academic cooperation, exchange experts, and develop joint research programs between the two institutions.

Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong highly valued the significance of the visit, noting that Vietnam and Chile share many similarities in development and international integration. He emphasized that cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the University of Chile contributes to deepening the South-South friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
With the support of the Embassy, both parties agreed to expedite the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in training, research, and scholar exchange in the near future.

On October 31, the delegation visited Ho Chi Minh Park in Santiago to lay flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh. The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, reflecting deep respect for the great leader of the Vietnamese nation and appreciation for the friendship of the Chilean people.

The delegation visited the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Chile. During the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong discussed with the delegation the status of Vietnam-Chile relations, cooperation directions in education, culture, people-to-people diplomacy, and activities of the Vietnamese community in the host country.
The visit of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, with the close support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Chile, contributes to promoting academic cooperation, expanding cultural exchanges, and strengthening the comprehensive friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Chile.
