Exhibition on Vietnam’s sovereignty over islands opens in Cao Bang

An exhibition featuring historical and legal evidence of Vietnamese sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands opened on July 9 in the northern province of Cao Bang.

The event is part of a series of activities to raise public awareness about Vietnamese sovereignty and the national border, said Hoang Ngoc Son, Director of the Cao Bang Department of Information and Communication.

In addition to over 300 maps, documents and photos about Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands, the exhibition also displays photos of the ASEAN community and the ethnic groups in Vietnam.

The exhibition will run until July 10.
