Ministries, agencies, and localities were called on to invest more in equipment and techniques to ensure aviation security and safety, and promote the role and operation of provincial steering committees on terrorism prevention and control.

In 2023, airlines served about 74 million passengers, an increase of 34.5% from 2022. Of that, the number of international passengers reached 32 million, up 1.7 times.
