Vietnam is a nation of over 100 million inhabitants, integrated into global trade circuits, with economic growth rates averaging 7 percent annually over the past decades, making it an extraordinarily attractive market for Mexico.

Among the countries comprising the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam is Mexico's second-largest trading partner and the seventh-largest global supplier. Bilateral trade between Mexico and Vietnam has grown exponentially since the CPTPP came into effect for both countries.
