Deputy PM Minh expressed his wish to continue promoting the friendship and stable, practical and long-lasting cooperation with the US on the basis of mutual respect for each other’s political regime.

Vietnam attaches importance and priority to ties with the US in the fields of energy, education, environment, climate change response and water resources protection for sustainable socio-economic development, he said.
The host also expressed his delight that the US-funded Fulbright University Vietnam has been put into operation.
Mr. Kerry, who is on a working visit from January 10-11, vowed to continue fostering Vietnam – US ties in the future.
He said Vietnam holds potential of developing clean and renewable energy in the form of public-private partnership, adding that he is willing to support Vietnam in the field via connecting the country with potential partners and sharing experience.
The guest believed that the Fulbright University Vietnam will contribute to high-quality human resources training in Vietnam.
