This prestigious award from our state recognizes the positive and effective efforts and contributions of the Ambassador towards the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Indonesia.
At the ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong praised Ambassador Denny Abdi for his practical activities and significant contributions over his five-year tenure in Vietnam, which have strengthened and developed bilateral relations.
Notably, during General Secretary To Lam's visit to Indonesia, the two countries elevated their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership – a historic milestone in bilateral relations.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that during the Ambassador's tenure, both sides achieved considerable progress in various cooperation fields, especially in the economy and trade, with rapid growth.
Most notably, the successful conclusion of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) delimitation agreement negotiations stands as a clear testament to the genuine friendship and strong cooperation between the two nations.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong sincerely acknowledged the valuable contributions of Ambassador Denny Abdi to the Vietnam-Indonesia friendship and expressed hope that, in his new role as Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Denny Abdi will continue to be a close friend, actively supporting and further promoting the excellent cooperative relationship between the two countries.

Ambassador Denny Abdi expressed his honor at receiving the Friendship Order; he sincerely thanked the President and senior leaders of Vietnam and appreciated the attention, support, and cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant ministries, sectors, and localities of Vietnam during his tenure.
Reflecting on his tenure, Ambassador Denny Abdi noted that Indonesia and Vietnam share many similarities in history, friendship, and vision, built by the leaders of both countries. The two nations are committed to cooperating, supporting, and accompanying each other on the path of development, aiming to become prosperous countries in the future.

Ambassador Denny Abdi is proud that during his tenure in Vietnam, the two countries achieved many significant results and hopes there will be many more opportunities for deeper cooperation. Currently, both Vietnam and Indonesia are active members of ASEAN, jointly contributing to maintaining peace, security, and prosperity in the region.
Ambassador Denny Abdi also affirmed that in any position, he will continue to contribute to the development of the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia.
