During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Ngo Le Van conveyed the greetings of the Vietnamese Party and State leaders to the PCdoB leadership, expressing gratitude to the PCdoB and the Brazilian people for their consistent support of the Communist Party and the people of Vietnam in their struggle for national independence and unification in the past, as well as in the current renewal and nation-building efforts.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ngo Le Van highly appreciated the PCdoB's decision to send representatives to celebrate with the Party, State, and people of Vietnam during this significant national event, considering it a source of encouragement and motivation for the Communist Party and the people of Vietnam. He shared Vietnam's two strategic goals for 2030 and 2045, detailing efforts to achieve these goals, such as streamlining the apparatus, promoting 8% growth this year and double-digit growth in the coming years, ensuring sustainable development, and leaving no one behind. He also emphasized the continuation of an independent, self-reliant foreign policy, with multilateralization and diversification of relations.
Regarding Vietnam-Brazil relations, Deputy Foreign Minister Ngo Le Van expressed delight at the developments in the relations between the two parties and countries in recent times. He proposed that the two parties continue to enhance theoretical exchanges and share information on the situations in their respective countries and regions, strengthen coordination at multilateral political party forums, and contribute practically to the implementation of the new strategic partnership framework, particularly in science and technology, innovation, sustainable development, climate change response, and continue to promote the initiation of negotiations for the Vietnam-MERCOSUR Free Trade Agreement.

Pedro Olveira valued the significance of Vietnam's independence in 1945 for the national liberation movement in Asia and Latin America. He expressed joy and honour to represent the PCdoB at this particularly important celebration of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam.
Pedro Olveira conveyed the greetings and regards of the PCdoB Chairman to General Secretary To Lam, the Party and State leaders, and the people of Vietnam. He appreciated the development of relations between the two parties and countries in recent times, including the visit of the PCdoB Chairman to Vietnam in November 2023. He also expressed agreement with the proposals of the Communist Party of Vietnam, affirming his commitment and that of the Party to continue efforts to strengthen the relations between the two parties and countries, making them more substantive and effective. He pledged active support and promotion of the negotiations for the MERCOSUR-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in the near future.
