This is an annual event with the aim of increasing the understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries.
All primary and junior students throughout the country can participate in the contest by sending self-painted pictures on A3 paper to the association at 7th Floor, 105A Quan Thanh street, Ba Dinh district, Ha Noi.
Any medium, including pastel, oil pastels, pen, pencil, charcoal, acrylics, watercolour, oils and mixed media can be used.
There are no limits on the number of entries per participant and every child is welcome to submit as many paintings on the theme of garbage.
All entries should be sent to VIDAFA’s office no later than October 7, 2019.
The awards ceremony is expected to be held in November 2019. The winner of a special prize will be awarded a Canon camera and a Lego set. First, second and third prizes will be given Lego sets.
The organising board hopes that with energy and imagination and a pure heart full of optimism, children across the country will give adults unexpected ideas on how to make the planet more clean, green and sustainable.
The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of the organisations including Kim Dong Publishing and Nhi Dong Newspaper.
