The 13th ASG is taking place from May 31 to June 9 in the central city of Da Nang, under the theme “Connect to Shine Bright”. It saw the participation of about 1,300 athletes and coaches from ten member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Also in the morning, heads of delegations to the games gathered in the central city for their conference to listen to a report on preparations for ASG, as well as information related to the games’ organisation, logistics and transportation from host Vietnam.

The competition, which kicked off with a basketball event on May 31, will feature intense matches among athletes representing regional contenders in 107 events of six sports, namely swimming, athletics, badminton, basketball, Pencak Silat, and Vovinam.
