The concert was attended by more than 150 guests, including 30 heads of representative missions and foreign diplomats, representatives of a number of Romanian Ministries and Romanian partners, officials and employees of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Romania.

Vietnamese students who are studying music in Romania gave performances in the programme. The show that lasted for about an hour, comprised pieces with international influences as well as unique folk tunes of Romania and Viet Nam.

Addressing the event, Ambassador of Viet Nam to Rumania Dang Tran Phong reviewed the positive development of the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Romania, including bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and education. He thanked the Romanian Government for its support in the training of Vietnamese students and researchers over the years, noting that many of the alumni have succeeded in their careers and made practical contributions to national development.

The diplomat also thanked the National University of Music Bucharest for helping train many musical talents of Viet Nam over the years.
