Early on the morning of July 21, American singer and songwriter Charlie Puth arrived in Vietnam ahead of the 8Wonder music gala which will be held in Khanh Hoa province the following day.

Upon landing at Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa, Charlie Puth traveled directly to Vinpearl Nha Trang on Hon Tre Island which will play host to the 8Wonder music gala.

The concert, which is to close WonderFest 2023, an annual international sea festival taking place in Vinpearl Nha Trang, is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and last for six hours, featuring vibrant performances and numerous entertainment activities.

Famous Vietnamese singers such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Ha Anh Tuan, and Amee will also participate in the event.

Charlie Puth, 32, is an American singer and songwriter. His initial breakthrough in the music industry came through the viral success of his videos uploaded to YouTube before signing with the record label Eleveneleven in 2011 following The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

In 2015 he rose to global fame through the smash hit “See You Again” which featured in Fast & Furious 7 and peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks and earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song nomination, along with three nominations at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

His other hits included “One Call Away”, “We Don't Talk Anymore”, “Attention”, and “How Long”, all of which achieved high positions on popular music charts.

Vietnam will be the first destination on Puth’s Asian tour-themed "Charlie The Live Experience". He will then travel to Hong Kong (China), Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Singapore, Tokyo (Japan), and Seoul (Republic of Korea) in October and November this year.
