Speaking at the event, the school's Principal Sivanheuang Phengkhammay said that the event aimed to help its students learn more about Vietnamese cultural values. Then, they will help introduce those values to international friends.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung said that he was happy to see the school's teachers and students integrate well into Lao society, but still preserve Vietnamese cultural identity.

On this occasion, the ambassador presented 15 million LAK (720 USD) to support the school's Vietnamese language teaching and learning.
