Beef and Wine Day: Argentine cuisine shines in the heart of Hanoi
WVR - On the evening of November 11, the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam hosted the traditional Beef and Wine Day event at Los Fuegos - Argentine Steak & Grill. This program is part of the ninth Argentine Week in Hanoi, taking place from November 10-16, 2025.

This annual cultural and culinary event offers a vibrant journey to explore the flavors, traditions, and lifestyle of Argentina, featuring the most iconic products of the South American country such as beef and wine.
Additionally, the event showcases Argentina's distinctive cheeses and yerba mate tea, enriching the experience of the country's diverse and culturally rich culinary landscape.
The program also gathers many importers, distributors, representatives from hotels, restaurants, cafes, along with wine experts, enthusiasts, and representatives from agencies in Hanoi, creating a bridge of flavours and friendship between Vietnam and Argentina.

At Beef and Wine Day, guests are immersed in the flavors of premium Argentinian beef, a symbol of the long-standing culinary heritage of the Latin American nation.
In Argentina, beef is the soul of every asado – a traditional barbecue, where the skill of the asador (grill master) is fully displayed through each piece of meat. Nothing brings people together like an asado with friends, accompanied by fine wine and hearty laughter.
Notably, these carefully selected cuts reflect traditional grazing methods on the Pampas grasslands, producing beef renowned for its natural sweetness, tenderness, and rich flavor. Prepared to strict international standards and celebrated at numerous steak competitions worldwide, Argentinian beef epitomizes the sophistication, authenticity, and pride of Argentine cuisine.

| Argentina ranks among the top 5-6 beef-exporting countries globally, with an annual output of 700,000 to 900,000 tons, accounting for about 4% of the total global beef export value. Beyond its reputation for quality, Argentina pioneers certification programs to meet the European Union's import standards and sustainable development goals, focusing on traceability, environmental protection, and deforestation-free production. Cattle graze naturally on lush pastures, imparting a unique texture and flavor to each cut of meat, symbolizing the harmony between people, tradition, and nature. |

Moreover, within the framework of Beef and Wine Day, guests also explore a variety of Argentine wines from different regions and styles, ranging from fresh, aromatic whites to robust, characterful reds. This celebrates the diversity, creativity, and cultural depth of Argentina's winemaking art.
Argentine wine is a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The country ranks among the top 10 wine producers globally, with an annual output of 8-11 million hectoliters.
At the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards, Argentine producers won over 300 medals, including numerous platinum and gold awards, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to quality and honoring the unique characteristics of their vineyards.
