Madam Vu Thi Bich Ngoc stated that 2021 marks the 6th anniversary of the AWCH. Over the past years, the Circle has constantly flourished, making meaningful contributions to enhancing connectivity within the ASEAN Community in Viet Nam.

The AWCH welcomed the participation of 19 ASEAN’s partners, and 6 outstanding women’s or-ganizations of Viet Nam.

The AWCH’s diverse activities have showcased the close bond that the Circle shares with women in Viet Nam and overseas. Notable among such activities are the two major annual events, including the ASEAN Family Day in August and the International Food Fes-tival in December. These events have earned the recognition and praise of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Such accomplishments owe much to the active participation of AWCH members throughout different periods. It would be amiss not to bring up the support of Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga, Honorary President of the AWCH for 2015 - April 2021, and the devotion of each and every staff from the Embassies of ASEAN members in Ha Noi over the years”, she said.

On this occasion, Madam Vu Thi Bich Ngoc extended her sincere thanks to Ms. Nguyen Nguyet Nga, and all fellow sisters in the AWCH family for the important contributions to shaping the present AWCH.

She also appreciates the active contributions of AWCH members in maintaining the Circle’s activities, thereby strengthening the unity of the ASEAN Community in Viet Nam despite the complicated evolution of COVID-19 that brought about multi-faceted impact upon societies, families, and individuals.
